An established family owned and managed melon farm are seeking two energetic and self motivated farm hands for outdoors labouring work on their property in Mataranka (400kms south of Darwin).
Work will include general farm duties, operating machinery and labour intensive work in the field. Previous experience of farm work in Australia will be advantageous. Some of the work will be planting melons, assisting with irrigation and tractor driving. A manual car licence is essential. Experience operating a tractor would also be advantageous.
All work will be outdoors in a tropical climate (30'c+). You should have a very good level of physical fitness as you will be working in a very busy environment. You should be both physically fit and mentally tough as the work can be demanding. A very good level of spoken English is essential. Applicants with a patient and calm attitude coupled with a strong work ethic will be most suitable.

Accommodation is available on the property at a cost, for an air conditioned room, shared kithcen and facilities. Own vehicle essential. Own transport recommended as the farm is 100km from the nearest town and shopping centre. Applicants should note that this work is remote and phone and internet signal are limited.

- Be available to commence work now
- Be available for day or night shifts of up to 12 hours, up to 7 days a week including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays
- Be at least 18 years old
