Labourer for Cattle Station

A family-owned cattle station in the Pilbara area of WA (150 kms from Tom Price) requires one experienced labourer for 3 months.
This person be carrying out general station maintenance. This includes maintaining and putting in new watering points (solar pumps, tanks & troughs) also some yard building.
Depending on weather, there may be some mustering work so applicants need to be confident on a motorbike.
Applicants must have the following skills and experience
- Previous general labouring or trades experience
- Experience riding off-road motorbikes
- Basic mechanical skills
- A drivers license and own vehicle
- Excellent English
- Experience labouring outdoors in the heat as temperatures will get up to 40 degrees
Pay rate is $160/day Monday-Saturday and $320/day Sundays and Public Holidays. Work is 6 days per week.
Accommodation is provided for free in a self-contained air-conditioned donga with a shared bathroom. Food/meals provided for free.
The station only has single men's quarters, so this role does not suit a couple or females.
