The Job Shop is looking for an experienced office admin person for work in our regional Katherine office (NT).
The Job Shop is a rural recruitment agency with offices in Perth, Kununurra, Katherine and Darwin. We provide staffing solutions and employment opportunities in the agriculture, hospitality, administration and construction sectors. We are looking for someone reliable, enthusiastic and confident who can undertake the following tasks at our office in Katherine.
- Data entry and administration
- Customer service, by phone and in person
- Recruitment and other associated responsibilities
Every day, new jobseekers are arriving in town and one of the main responsibilities of the admin person will be to register new jobseekers and give information on the available jobs. This will entail speaking with people from many different countries with varying levels of English.
Candidates must have exceptional customer service skills and be able to communicate confidently in fluent English (verbal and written). You will need to be proficient using computers (Microsoft Office), have excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail. Applications with previous recruitment experience would be fantastic, but we are happy to train someone with excellent communication and admin skills.
The ideal candidate will be someone who is genuinely self-motivated, have an outgoing personality and a work ethic that encapsulates persistence, honesty and a sense of fun!
