Mango Pickers, Packers and Pruners

We are looking for hard-working, reliable people for the Mango season in the Northern Territory who can commit for the season. Roles will include picking and packing mangoes, pruning mangoes, fertilising and general farm hand tasks. Mango picking involves picking fruit from the trees by hand or using picking poles and then placing mangoes onto a picking machine where they are treated before being stored in bins.
The season will usually be 6-8 weeks. After the picking and packing in Howard Springs, there is opportunity for additional mango picking,packing and pruning in Katherine, Mataranka or Queensland. For workers re-deployed to Katherine or Mataranka there will be an additional 8-10 weeks of work. For workers redeployed to Queensland it will be an additional 8-12 weeks of work.
People with previous packing and grading experience are highly valued and may be placed in supervisory roles. There are also options for licensed forklift operators, supervisors and quality control roles within the packing shed. This work can be physically demanding in the hot and humid tropical conditions found in the Northern Territory.
