Starting as soon as possible, a hotel located in Karratha, Western Australia, requires a Sous Chef for a live-in position.
This role would be suitable for a Chef looking for sponsorship or a permanent role.
- Leading a team of 10 to achieve consistently high standards of food quality in the absence of the Executive Chef
- Hands-on role requiring excellent communication skills with the front of house team
- Involved with stock control, rostering and ordering
- Report directly to the Executive Chef
Applicants should have:
- Superior culinary skills in contemporary a la carte restaurants or hotels
- A strong work ethic, with the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent organisational, problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Creativity and passion about performing at the highest level
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Full time starting salary of $65k
- Accommodation in a shared staff house nearby
This job will count towards the 2nd year visa for 462 WHV holders.
