Chef/Cook for Coastal Tourist Park

Starting early-mid May, a Chef/Cook is required at a busy tourist park on the coast north of Port Hedland, WA for at least 4-6 months.
The tourist park is based on a cattle station, so this person will be required to cook for guests as well as live-in staff.
Lunch shift is 11am-2pm and duties include cooking a la carte meals for guests and preparing baked goods (savory pies, slices etc) for the staff. Dinner shift is 4pm - 9pm and includes preparing the buffet (usually 2 meat dishes + veggies + dessert) as well as cooking a la carte orders for guests. The a la carte orders come in by 5pm, so the Chef/Cook will know exactly what needs to be prepared before service. The guest menu is simple pub fare: steaks, chicken, pastas, etc.
During peak season the Cook/Chef will be cooking for up to 50 people per day.
Applicants must have previous experience cooking for large groups on stations or mining camps, as well as a food safety and handling certificate.
Pay rate will be depending on experience, between $25-28/hour.
This is a live-in position with all meals and accommodation are provided for free. You'll have your own room with an en suite.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who enjoys an outdoor coastal lifestyle as there is plenty of opportunity outside of work for fishing, hiking, socialising with other staff, etc.
This job counts towards visa extension for people on a 462 Working Holiday Visa.
