Starting early April, an experienced Chef is required for a busy hotel situated within Kakadu National Park, Northern Territory. Applicant will be willing to commit to a full season until September/October.
This position involves cooking high volume quality bistro and buffet style meals for guests and staff who live on site. A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position is required as well as excellent organisation skills and good hygiene.
Shifts are usually 5 days per week, around 45 hours.
This is a fulltime position offering a salary of $55,000 which works out to be $26/hour. You'll accrue annual leave and sick leave on top of your wage.
Free accommodation provided, plus one meal a day. There's Telstra phone coverage available and the hotel is situated within a small town in the national park with access to a grocery store and other amenities.
The hotel is only a 2.5 hour drive from Darwin. Staff spend their days off hiking, swimming, going on a cruise/tour etc.
