Receptionist for Remote Resort - NT

A resort/hotel located in Kakadu National Park (2 hours from Darwin) requires an experienced Receptionist/Shop Assistant to join their team starting October 1st. Must stay until mid-January 2019.
Duties will include working between reception and the shop/fuel station (joint areas). Reception duties involve greeting guests, answering phones, taking bookings over the phone, checking guests in/out and processing payments. Shop duties involve using the till, service customers, stocking shelves, handling deliveries, labeling store items and cleaning.
Depending on the roster, opening or closing the shop will be a key part of the role. This role involves being on your feet all day and lots of multitasking. We need someone who can use their initiative, and who is not afraid to do some cleaning when things are quiet.
Applicants must have experience using a hotel booking system such as Opera or GuestCentrix. Excellent English, customer service and presentation is essential.
Pay rate is $26.50 (flat rate). Meals and accommodation (own room and bathroom) provided on-site for $160/week.
There resort does not offer WIFI however there is Telstra phone signal.
This is an amazing opportunity to live and work in the heart of Kakadu in the Northern Territory. Staff usually go on tours, hiking, swimming etc. on their days off. Please note the resort is about 45 kms from the nearest town, so this role is only suited for people prepared for remote living.
