Starting Monday 4 June, we are looking for a team of reliable labourers for pruning work on a large mango plantation close to Katherine, NT (300 kms South of Darwin).
All pruning work will be done with hand saws therefore you should have a very good level of physical fitness and upper body strength. Preference will be given to applicants who have proven experience working outdoors labouring OR on a farm in Australia.
The first job will be 20kms from the centre of Katherine, your own transport is essential to travel to work each day.
Accommodation is not provided and camping on the farm is not permitted, however reasonably priced accommodation is available in the town centre.
Work will be 6 days a week, starting daily at 7.00am until approx 5.00pm with lunch break (30 mins) and smoko's (15 mins each). Your day off will be Sunday. This job will be available for 4 - 6 weeks and depending on performance there will be more work in Mataranka (400 kms South of Darwin).
This work will be eligible for visa extension for WHV 417 and 462.
