We have just entered Winter where the bulk of the harvest work in south west Western Australia is pruning grapevines. This is usually contract work- the more vines you prune, the more you make. It's not uncommon for people to earn $20 an hour.

Hello Jobseekers, Right now we are looking for people who have an agricultural /conventional farming or machinery operation background to work on farms. Pretty soon farmers will be putting their crops in and it's tipped to be a bumper year.

At this time of the year there is typically a large number of jobseekers who are looking for work in either Perth or Margaret River. The bad news is there is not a lot of full time work in Perth at this time and the grape's are not ready for picking until  around Feb/ Mar.
